Fran Odette is a professor at George Brown College in Toronto, teaching in the Assaulted Women and Children’s Counselor Advocate Program and the Social Service Worker Program. Fran also teaches in the School of Disability Studies. Fran brings the lived experience of disability and multiple identities and grounds her work in the commitment to challenge and dismantle attitudinal barriers that are often part of systems that exclude people with disabilities from the workforce and community.
